Franklin’s Thoele signs with Lincoln

Stephanie Thoele, a 5-foot-9 middle/outside hitter from Franklin High School, has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Lincoln College.

“Stephanie is a good athlete who comes from a small high school program,” Lincoln coach Mark Tippett said. “She may have some catching up to do before she will be prepared for the speed and competitive nature of the college game, but from what I know about her, she will be up to the challenge. She has played middle most of her career, but I see her working into the offense as an outside or right-side hitter.”

The Lincoln College volleyball program signed eight players to letters of intent for the 2008 season.  LC will return five players from last year’s team that set a school record for wins by going 34-16-1.
